TS4: To See a Man about a House (Interlude)

The Sims 4: To See a Man about a House

So recently you've probably noticed that my updates have been few and far between. Yes, I have been playing a little less these days (dividing my time between work (mostly), TS4, and Dragon's Dogma), but when I actually have been playing, I was spending time doing other things than spy on the Sabrukas. See, in theme with having them become a royalty with a legacy, a bloodline and all that god stuff, I wanted them to have a chateau, a real manor to call their own. The Sims 4 has really upped the ante in terms of house building tools, and I have found myself wanting to make some really nice abodes. With that being said, let me introduce you to the Sabruka Cottage:

A 3 bed, 4 bathroom cottage smack in the middle of rich country. This large house has much space for activities, both inside and outside.

Now, let me level with you for one minute before moving on to the tour. Recently I've been working quite a lot, and it's been a while since I actually took those screenshots. In fact, the cottage itself was finished sometime early last week, before my last blog entry, so I may or may not have forgotten certain details along the way.

So on the first floor, we have two main living rooms. One is a quaint little television/movie room:

And the other is more of a tea room, or a reading room:

The first floor also boasts two bedrooms, complete with their own private bathrooms:

The dining room features some nice, country-style furniture to feel at home in:

The kitchen, while spacious, also has a cozy feel to it:

To close off the first floor tour, let us take a quick look at the old-style privy located at the back:

The second floor opens up to a large waiting room, complete with a game of chess, some paintings and some nice sofas to relax on:

Near the back is a music room, for those who are more inclined towards the fine arts:

A small, two-person study is also available for work or any other scholarly persuit:

Finally, the second floor also contains a large bedroom for the masters of the Sabruka Cottage:

While the interior of the cottage certainly has a lot to offer, the grounds have also been decorated and modelled in order to provide the greatest opportunities for growth and pleasure. The main backyard contains a nice little porch and some planters, along with a small gazebo to relax in:

On the left is a small grove for those romantic nights out:

And finally, last and least, on the right is a small cemetery for the members of the Sabruka Family to be laid to rest:

So, that is the gist of it. When will the Sabruka family move in? Well, that all depends on when they can afford it. Once they move in, expect some changes in order to fit everyone's personalities. Anyways, that's it for now. Cheers!
